The Synar Dashboard

The Synar Dashboard is now available and is an interactive tool designed to display aggregated statistics for the Synar survey in Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2019. Data generated from the survey can be produced for the distribution of outlets sampled, violation rates by: year, age of youth, ethnicity of youth, gender of youth, race of youth, region, alcohol serving outlets and type of outlets. Odds ratios are also calculated for comparing within the following groups: ethnicity, race, alcohol serving outlets, region and type of outlet. An overview of the Synar survey is available for reviewed on the Synar Survey webpage and in the Technical Notes section (page 4 or 4) of the Synar Dashboard.

Counts, crude rates, and age-adjusted rates can be produced for assaults, self-harm attempts, and suicides by firearms, cuts and piercing, and poisonings.
