Windber Borough
Windber WalkWorks is a consortium of Windber Borough, Windber School District, Windber Municipal Authority, and Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. The group came together after Windber Borough was selected to join the network of WalkWorks walking routes. The goal is to create a healthier community, along with creating a fun atmosphere for becoming more fit, while enjoying the wonderful scenery that Windber has to offer. Walking is one of the easiest ways to be active and reap the benefits of physical activity. The route at Windber Recreation Park is the first identified route with, potentially, more to come.
