Registration

All prescribers and pharmacists in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as their delegates, can register for the program.

Tips for a successful registration:

  1. Review our Terms and Conditions (PDF) before registering.
  2. Prescribers: Enter your personal DEA number, not your employer's DEA number.
  3. Enter your Pennsylvania Professional License number.
  4. Do not enter any dashes in your DEA, Professional License, or NPI number.
  5. Double check for typing errors before submitting.

To ensure the security of the PDMP system and validate identity, registrants are asked to enter the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number (SSN). As an alternative, registrants can provide documentation for validation purposes. Validation documentation consists of a current, fully legible, color copy of your Pennsylvania medical license, and a current, fully legible, color copy of your government issued photo identification (driver's license, state ID, or passport). Documents can be emailed to ra-dh-pdmp@pa.gov. Once the office validates the documents, access to the PDMP system will be permitted.

Delegate Access

To make consistent use of the PA PDMP more practicable, prescribers and pharmacists may grant access to any delegates under their employment or supervision to query the system on their behalf. Delegates register for their own accounts and enter the email address of their supervising prescriber(s) or pharmacist(s) to request access to the database.

  • Delegate Policies (PDF)
  • Videos and guides on how to manage delegates in the LogiCoy PDMP system are available within the PDMP. Visit pdmp.health.pa.gov, login, and select “Training Resources” at the bottom of the page.
