Introduction

Healthy People 2030 (HP2030) is a set of goals and objectives with 10 year targets designed to guide national health promotion and disease prevention efforts in order to improve the health of all Americans. The Department’s Division of Health Informatics provides statistics to assist in the monitoring of progress of these objectives at the state and county level.

The report contains data for objectives within HP2030 topic areas, which you can access from the navigation box to the left. Click on a topic area, and then on an objective below the topic area to access the data. The data for most objectives are also accompanied by an indicator of whether the measured statistic for the most recent year of data met the 2030 goal.

Any objective in the navigation box to the left which has “(LHI)” following it means that the objective is a Leading Health Indicator (LHI).
