Cholesterol

Cholesterol is created by the body in order to work properly and is found in many foods. Excess cholesterol can accumulate depending on one's diet and the rate at which it is broken down. The narrowing of the arteries can occur when extra cholesterol builds up, thus restricting the amount of blood passing through.
