Health Plans Development

The mission of  the Office of Operational Excellence's Division of Plan Development is to develop and promote strategies to improve the public's health, support the department in accreditation readiness, and provide comprehensive reports on population health status.

Division of Plan Development Initiatives

• Work in partnership with the Healthy Pennsylvania Partnership to develop and maintain the State Health Assessment.
  
• Work in partnership with the Healthy Pennsylvania Partnership to develop and implement the State Health Improvement Plan.
• Engage community coalitions in opportunities to exchange public health improvement resources, information, and best practices, through the Health Improvement Partnership Program.
• Support the department's efforts and activities in maintaining national public health accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board.
