Pocono Family YMCA

The Pocono Family YMCA was established on July 17, 1914 in Stroudsburg, PA. The Y is an association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. The YMCA has a variety of programs including parent/child programs, childcare, summer day camps, youth and adult sports, aquatics programs, CPR and first aid certification classes, arthritis exercise and much more. The Y works side-by-side with its neighbors in Monroe County to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. With the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as its guide, the Y works with the families and community every day to help the children have fun while realizing their potential. It is committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility throughout Monroe County and surrounding communities.
