Age

The age group of the patient at the time of cancer diagnosis.

Multiple values may be selected when creating a table (you may need to hold down the Shift or Ctrl key). However, this menu may be limited to a single selection when creating a chart or map.

Note: When Age-Adjusted Rate is selected from the Rate/Ratio menu in step 6, the Age menu in step 7 will be limited to All Ages, <15, <20, <40, 40+, <50, and 50+.

To be able to view rates by more specific age groups, select anything other than Age-Adjusted Rate from the Rate/Ratio menu in step 6.

Specific age groups include the following selections:

• <1
• 1 to 4
• 5 to 9
• 10 to 14
• 15 to 19
• 20 to 24
• 25 to 29
• 20 to 34
• 35 to 39
• 40 to 44
• 45 to 49
• 50 to 54
• 55 to 59
• 60 to 64
• 65 to 69
• 70 to 74
• 75 to 79
• 80 to 84
• 85+
• <15
• <20
• <40
• 40+
• <50
• 50+
