School Climate (Family/Community Involvement)

Healthy Schools Network (HSN) HSN is a voluntary organization of public and independent schools, established in 2006, to address a variety of academic, social and emotional concerns of students through a comprehensive school health approach.

Engaging and Re-engaging Students and Families The four units within this training provide a perspective on motivation that goes beyond mainly reinforcing and enforcing behavior. The units include: 1) Motivation: Time to Move Beyond Behavior Modification; 2) Strategic Approaches to Enhancing Student Engagement and Re-engagement; 3) Enhancing Family Engagement and Re-engagement; and 4) Embedding Engagement and Re-engagement into a Unified and Comprehensive System of Student and Learning Supports.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Understanding Evidence This resource supports the making of evidence-informed decisions around violence prevention. This resource offers those working to prevent violence important knowledge and resources for using evidence in their decision making processes.
