MULTI- Hazard Planning ​Resources

Patterned after guidelines published by Ohio, these guidelines are specific to Pennsylvania laws and regulations. They provide a step-by-step process for assessing and treating common emergencies.   
Developed by the American Nurses Foundation and Penn Nursing, the PTSD Toolkit is a self-directed e-learning program designed to teach or reinforce nurses' knowledge about the treatment of veterans with PTSD. It includes simulation tools based on real case studies that are designed to test treatment skills and practice interventions. Available for Android™  and iOS platforms, the app is available for download from Google Play and the Apple Store.

CDC Preparedness 101: Zombie Pandemic (Preparedness Ideas for Educators)
This website was created to help educators teach middle school students the basics of emergency preparedness and response using a fun, fictitious scenario. 
This program provides a framework designed to: 1) Help schools become prepared for emergencies; 2) Help increase the level of preparedness among individuals and families; and 3) Encourage schools to help their local communities to prepare for emergencies. This is a free, self-guided program designed to help businesses, organizations and schools become better prepared for emergencies. Members complete a 123-point self assessment of their level of preparedness and have access to tools, tips and best practices to help improve their level of preparedness.
