American Trauma Society

The American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division (ATSPA) is a non-profit trauma prevention education organization dedicated to reducing the suffering, disability and death caused by trauma throughout the Commonwealth.
Pennsylvania has a grant with ATSPA to coordinate the implementation of outreach and educational strategies in all 67 counties of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which are designed to reduce injuries and deaths due to trauma.  These activities are to be accomplished by determining needs, developing partnerships and exploring further developments of evidence-based injury prevention programs.  ATSPA  shall identify deficiencies in populations based on behaviors, develop promotional materials and promote safe activities for these populations.
