Pennsylvania Tobacco Cessation Resource Project

The Bureau of Health Promotion and Risk Reduction, Division of Tobacco Prevention and Control (DTPC, offers grants of up to $10,000, to community-based organizations and small businesses in Pennsylvania.  The grants fund evidence-based initiatives that connect community members and/or employees to tobacco cessation resources, including the PA Free Quitline. 
 
2018 Grants

The Bureau of Health Promotion and Risk Reduction, Division of Tobacco Prevention and Control (DTPC), is offering grants of up to $10,000 to community-based organizations and small businesses in Pennsylvania to fund evidence-based initiatives during the period January 12, 2018, through June 30, 2018.  One significant change is that a collaborative project by up to three separate organizations can be awarded up to $30,000.  These initiatives must connect community members and/or employees to tobacco cessation resources through promotion and/or referrals to the PA Free Quitline, and may also be supported through community-based cessation programs.  Initiatives that most closely fit the criteria will be given priority.

 

The 2018 Tobacco Cessation Resource Project timeline is as follows:

·        Email questions regarding the Tobacco Cessation Resource Project by October 27, 2017.
·        Email a Letter of Intent by November 10, 2017.
·        Application must be received via email by 11:59 p.m. ET on November 17, 2017.
·        Awards will be announced the week of December 18, 2017.
