The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) is
responsible for maintaining an online statewide listing of tobacco cessation
counseling services. The Every Smoker Every Time (ESET) webinar training is the entry point for individuals to be included on the Pre-Approved Tobacco Cessation Registry (Registry).
Established in 2002, the DOH's online statewide listing of tobacco cessation counseling services, the Registry, is utilized as a resource and
referral system at local, regional and state levels. Clinicians and health care delivery systems providing cessation counseling services are required to submit an application to the DOH in order to be listed on the Registry.
Clinicians and healthcare delivery systems interested in
reimbursement from Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Medical Assistance programs for cessation services are
required to indicate their interest on the application.
