The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) is responsible for maintaining an online statewide listing of tobacco cessation counseling services.
Established in 2002, the Pennsylvania DOH's online statewide listing of tobacco cessation counseling services, the Pre-Approved Tobacco Cessation Registry (Registry), is utilized as a resource and referral system at state, regional and local levels. Clinicians and health care delivery systems providing cessation counseling services are required to submit an application to the DOH in order to be listed on the Registry.
Clinicians and healthcare delivery systems interested in reimbursement from Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Medical Assistance programs for cessation services are required to indicated their interest on the application.
Please note: if you applied for and were listed on the Registry prior to 2013, you need to reapply to remain part of the Registry.
