Hepatitis C Screening and Linkage to Care Mini-Grant

The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s viral hepatitis prevention coordinator (VHPC) is announcing a funding opportunity to help drug and alcohol treatment sites build capacity to address hepatitis C, (HCV) infection in their client populations. This includes technical support for conducting on-site screening HCV and referring participants with positive tests results for needed preventive and clinical care. Awardees will receive up to 200 HCV testing kits to use for their proposed activities during one year. The VHPC will provide technical assistance in implementation, data collection and analysis. The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) is collaborating with the Department of Health on this project.
